Lucy

This is Lucy, our youngest but certainly not the least caring person. Lucy has a very gentle soul that can be felt the minute you cross eyes with her. If there was a fans choice award for this trip, it would have probably gone to any of the gp members but to Lucy for sure. She is very well liked by many, especially the kids that played soccer with. Her sweet presence is so well noticed that if she is not with the group for errands, people will asked about her. 

Lucy is going to photography school and we were fortunate to have her there to documents the lifetime experience that was being made. She not only took some amazing pictures, but she was also flexible enough to do more such as spending nights with her mom Angie making menstruation bracelets for teenagers, working in our pharmacy,  helping navigate patients through our triage system,  or being there for whoever needs assistance. 

The love Lucy received in Senegal is so mutual and reciprocal that she is thinking about going back to Senegal some day. 

You will always be welcomed in the land of Teranga Lucy and thank you so much for being part of this amazing experience along with your amazing mom.
